Keeping You Connected
The Energy Corridor District enjoys several existing mass transit options. The Addicks Park and Ride is the centerpiece for all existing METRO routes within the District. The Harris County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (METRO) operates several routes – a Park and Ride service connecting residents to downtown Houston, the Northwest Transit Center, the Westpark area, and close to Fort Bend county.

Guaranteed Ride Home
METRO offers commuters a way home in the event of a midday emergency up to three times per calendar year. This is a free service available to all bus patrons without midday service and STAR Vanpool riders. Bus patrons MUST register here.
The Woodlands Township and the Energy Corridor District have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a pilot commuter bus service. This innovative pilot program will provide dedicated bus service for the District’s employees and The Woodlands’ residents to and from each locale. The MOU represents a shared interest by both organizations towards operating the service in late 2021. During the coming months, the District and The Woodlands will continue their collaboration to identify the route, stops, schedules, and fares, while considering public health conditions.
