Parks and TrailsThe Energy Corridor District was selected by the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program to receive planning assistance for the West Houston Trail System. Through this partnership, the National Park Service and Energy Corridor District will continue to develop and improve trails throughout the area. With almost 26,000 acres of park and 50 miles of recreational trails, everyone can enjoy the beautiful outdoors, whether strolling around the block, hiking or cycling throughout the Corridor. And, your pet has a place to play as well, with two dog parks located in the Energy Corridor – the Millie Bush Dog Park and Bill Archer Dog Park. |
