Nearly 26,000 acres of parks provide close-to-home playgrounds, championship sporting fields and picnic areas for all to enjoy. Additionally, there are 50 miles of recreational trails for jogging, hiking, rollerblading and cycling – all of which connect neighborhoods and businesses in and around the Corridor.
The Corridor also offers a host of recreational activities including tennis, golf and biking.

The Energy Corridor District was recently selected by the National Park Service’s Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program to receive planning assistance for the West Houston Trail System.

A wide variety of recreational activities are available in and near the Energy Corridor. Within minutes, golf enthusiasts can take to the links of Bear Creek Golf Course, as well as numerous other public and private courses.
