West Briar Middle School Cheerleaders to Perform the H-E-B Holiday Parade

Cheerleaders from West Briar Middle School to Perform in the 60th H-E-B Holiday Parade Eight cheerleaders from West Briar Middle School located in the Energy Corridor along with more than 500 elementary, junior high and high school cheerleaders and dancers from across the U.S. were selected to perform in the 60th H-E-B Holiday Parade, one of the oldest Thanksgiving Day parades in the country, in downtown Houston.  Cheerleaders Siriya Alexander, Brianna Boyd, Caroline Carnett, Elizabeth Feagan, Tayshianna Garrett, Elizabeth Hammerle, Caroline Hooper and Emily Ligon will perform with the Varsity All American group in the annual Thanksgiving Day festivities through the heart of downtown for tens of thousands of spectators lining the parade route. 

The youth invited to perform in the parade are cheerleading and dance All Americans selected from Varsity’s national competition through summer camps.  Only the top 12 percent of the cheerleaders and dancers who attended Varsity camps have earned the opportunity to march in a holiday parade of this caliber.  The H-E-B Holiday Parade will be televised on KHOU-TV (channel 11) on Thanksgiving (November 26) at 9 a.m., so tune in and support our West Briar Middle School cheerleaders!
