Pet-friendly event also featuring Houston SPCA pet adoptions
With locally sourced produce and artisan vendors, the Energy Corridor Farmers Market always has the ingredients for a good weekend. But pair the market up with a Watson’s House of Ales Brew Fest, and the weekend just got special.
For the second year in a row, Watson’s 6th Annual Brew Fest is pairing up with the Energy Corridor Farmers Market from noon- 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, in Grisby Square, 14710 Grisby Road, just southeast of IH-10 and Hwy 6. At least 10 Texas breweries will be pouring samples, while live music and a pet- and pedestrian-friendly atmosphere rounds out the scene.
Houston SPCA will be on hand for pet adoptions. Strolling a Grisby Road closed to traffic, participants can enjoy games, a Kona Ice truck, food and, of course, the tasty produce and epicurean wares of the many skilled local farmers and artisan food vendors who hold court each Saturday at the Energy Corridor Farmers Market.
Entry for the Brew Fest is $20, with 10 beer tickets, or $30, with 20 beer tickets. Pre-sale tickets for $15 are available at watsonsbrewfest2018.eventbrite.com.
