Join St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church for its annual Festival of Greece celebration Thursday, May 13 through Sunday, May 16. The festival will feature live music, traditional Greek dancing including the Kalamatiano, Syrtaki, Baidouska and Tsamiko and, of course, great Greek food. The menu includes all of your favorites including souvlaki, spanakopita, tiropita, loukoumades and baklava.
Fun for the entire family, Clutch of the Houston Rockets will make an appearance on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. and again Sunday from 2 – 4 p.m. with the Houston Rockets Cheerleaders. Cooking demonstrations will be held Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. And, everyone will be a winner with the carnival games such as the Iron Man Challenge, Double Bay Slide, Fun House Bounce, Duck Pond and more.
