Don’t toss out your old computer in the garbage now! Instead, mark your calendars for the Energy Corridor District’s e-Recycle event on November 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your unwanted CPUs, monitors, keyboards, laptops, power cords, printers, televisions, fax machines, cell phones and batteries to be e-recycled. On-site shredding will also be offered, so you can also bring personal documents, photographs, diskettes, micro-fiche, CD-ROMS, videotapes and cassette tapes. Not only will your technology waste be recycled, you’ll also be doing your part to make sure it’s all disposed of properly.
The e-Recycle drive will take place in the ConocoPhillips parking lot behind the Omni Hotel and ConocoPhillips service station at the northwest corner of N. Eldridge and N. Dairy Ashford.
