Rev Up Your Business at EnergyFest 2013!

Scheduled for April 6, 2013, “EnergyFest: Explore The Corridor” is the district’s inaugural street festival that celebrates our 10th anniversary. This exciting event will showcase our businesses and our active lifestyle and show residents who live in the district, as well as visitors, what it’s like to live in the Energy Corridor. To plan and produce the first ever “EnergyFest”, the Energy Corridor District selected Gray & Associates Events, an event-planning firm located in the Energy Corridor. This free, open to the public event will feature a full day of fun activities, great food and good times.

For companies located in the Energy Corridor, EnergyFest 2013 offers a unique opportunity to promote their business at expo tables or tents plus much more! A variety of levels of involvement are available for businesses that range from an exhibitor booth for $300 to the title festival sponsorship position for $10,000. Anything raised over our $50,000 event budget will be donated directly to neighborhood schools in the Energy Corridor.

In addition to an “EnergyFest” Kick-off Bike, Hike & Stroll event, attendees will enjoy the different activity zones offered:

Sustainable Synergy – Presented by Commute Solutions
Demonstrations will go on throughout the day focusing on sustainable living through alternative energy, recycling, urban gardening, and the future of public transportation.

Merchant Street – Presented by Sam's Club and Blue Atlas Marketing
The epicenter of revenue for EnergyFest 2013, merchants of all types will showcase their products and services as well as offer eight food booths!

Creative Corner – Presented by SM Energy
The Creative Corner will be a child’s paradise with arts & crafts, face painters, balloon artists, and a ton of fun.

Beverage Bayou – Presented by Sporting News Grill
Visitors will have to refresh and re-energize after visiting Merchant Street if they plan on hanging out all day listening to the great entertainment on the main stage!

Entertainment Expo – Presented by Advancial Federal Credit Union
KHOU Morning News Anchor, Lily Jang, will be the master of ceremonies on the Entertainment Expo main stage.  Here, visitors will enjoy the entertainment of local Houston area performing arts groups. Stage time will also be dedicated to showcasing performing arts groups affiliated with schools inside the Energy Corridor.

Be a part of the event that will capture the greatness and communal spirit of the Energy Corridor!
