Energy Corridor District staff and SWA Group recently met with property owners to discuss plans for the Grisby Square “Letitia Village” area, also known as Grasshopper Square. The plan includes a parking management plan, street improvements, streetscape enhancements and tree protection.
This potential annexation would include properties along Grisby and State Highway 6 south of IH 10, east of State Highway 6 and north of Wolfe Elementary School. As a municipal management district, the Energy Corridor District can provide public services and make improvements within the public rights of way. As such, if the Grisby/State Highway 6 area is added to the Energy Corridor District, the District will work to improve safety, appearance and maintenance of the area to positively benefit its businesses and the Energy Corridor.
