Mark Your Calendars To Participate in “Scouting for Food”

Mark Your Calendars To Participate in “Scouting for Food” Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will take to the streets on two consecutive Saturdays - January 29 and February 5 for their annual “Scouting for Food,” benefiting area food pantries. During the first Saturday, January 29, scouts will distribute door hangers explaining the program and instructions on how to participate. The following Saturday, February 5, the scouts will collect donations from participating households to donate to the local food pantry chosen by each individual troop.

Please mark your calendar to not only participate in this great program, but to be mindful of the scouts out in your neighborhood. All scouts will be wearing their uniform and participating in groups with adults and chaperones. For more information, contact the Sam Houston Area Council.
