For those needing a comfort food fix morning, noon or night, La Madeleine is bringing its brand of fast-casual, Country French bistro and bakery fare to The Energy Corridor, with a grand opening Thursday, March 7.
The newest La Madeleine café at 1560 Eldridge Parkway, just North of Briar Forest Dr., will provide people working and living in The Energy Corridor a convenient place to taste French countryside specialties – including Grilled Croque Monsieur sandwiches, slow-roasted rosemary chicken, fresh-baked baguettes and breads, buttery pastries, spinach pochette, crepes, pastas, salads, Parisien Eggs Benedict, and, of course, French Onion Soup. La Madeleine also serves its own brand of coffee, plus wine and beer.
La Madeleine began serving Texans on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas when Patrick Leon Esquerré opened his first boulangerie, or bakery, dishing out fresh-baked breads, pastries and espresso drinks. The native of France’s Loire Valley soon expanded his menu, adding a full café lineup focused on French countryside favorites. La Madeleine now operates 60 locations in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Georgia and the Washington D.C. area.
