Grisby Square and TxDOT ROW Join DistrictThe Energy Corridor District received City of Houston approval to extend its boundaries along IH-10 and SH 6 to include TxDOT right-of-way in the Energy Corridor and the bustling restaurant quarter along Grisby Road and Fort Smith Street. Now you can dine in the District at Lupe Tortilla, Lomonte’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, Las Ventanas, North China, Watson’s House of Ales, Salata, Subway and Ginger Thai Cuisine.

You will hear more about the Grisby Square area in 2011 on our website and in our newsletters. Soon, you will see new landscaping along IH-10 and SH 6, additional METRO bus service, new street signs, the tree lined roads become more park-like, a future Lunch Express Shuttle provided by restaurant owners and a possible Sunday brunch and afternoon concert series.
