Feed Your Dreams with Summer Reading

summer readingThis summer, the Kendall Public Library is encouraging youth up to 18 years of age to feed your dreams by reading your favorite books during the 2011 John P. McGovern Foundation Summer Reading Program. The free program encourages reading with rewards. 

To participate in the summer reading program, read or listen to books, enter book titles or time read on your online reading log either at home or with the help of your librarian. Upon completion, go to your local Houston Public Library location to pick up your prize at the 10 and 20 book level.

Registration continues through August 1. To register, visit any Houston Public Library location or register from your home computer. Click here to register
 
And, parents who enjoy reading can sign up for the 2011 Adult Summer Reading Club and earn a chance to win great prizes. Open to adults ages 18 and older, the Adult Summer Reading Club is a free online club. To register, visit www.houstonlibrary.org/asrc.
