EnergyFest Returns to Rock the Corridor!

2014 festival to feature live music

It’s back. And this time it’s ready to Rock the Corridor.

Following its inaugural street festival in 2013, The Energy Corridor District is setting the stage for EnergyFest 2014, featuring a lineup of musical performers and fun at Parkway Village Plaza, at Briar Forest and Eldridge Parkway.

After last year’s event – the first family street fest in The Energy Corridor – you talked and we listened. EnergyFest 2014: Rock the Corridor will be held at one location to make visiting as easy as playing air guitar.

Backstage, plans are being made for a celebrity emcee, live music acts and great food from Energy Corridor merchants, says promoter Shaun Gray, owner of the Gray & Associates Events, the EnergyFest 2014 promoter.

In April 2013, The Energy Corridor District and Gray & Associates organized and ran a festival that stretched along Eldridge Parkway. City of Houston Mayor Annise Parker kicked off the festival, while KHOU 11 Morning News Anchor Lily Jang and KHOU 11 Meteorologist Chita Johnson emceed the main stage, tweeting to followers during the event about their experiences.

To sponsor EnergyFest 2014: Rock the Corridor, contact Rachael Weaver, Community Relations Coordinator for The Energy Corridor District, at (281) 759-3800, or rweaver@energycorridor.org.

Stay tuned for more ear candy in the weeks ahead. And get ready to Rock the Corridor.
