Audi West Houston to join EnergyFest at Addicks Park & Ride, Saturday, April 4
With a spacious, new home and an exciting title sponsor, EnergyFest 2015 will continue The Energy Corridor’s newest “rite of spring” Saturday, April 4.
Now in its third year, EnergyFest will turn the Addicks Park and Ride into a festival grounds with live entertainment, food trucks, merchant booths, kids’ activities and the return of perennial EnergyFest emcee Lily Jang, KHOU-11’s morning anchor.
And just announced, Audi West Houston, 11850 Katy Freeway, will sponsor EnergyFest 2015.
“We’re excited to have Audi West Houston join EnergyFest,” says Rachael Weaver, community relations coordinator for The Energy Corridor District. “This is our third year for the festival – with free admission, thanks to our sponsors and The District. EnergyFest keeps growing, and this one will be the most energized yet.”
The Energy Corridor District has found a novel use for the Addicks Park and Ride facility, which sits empty on weekends. The District has long envisioned new and interesting uses for the sprawling facility at IH-10 just east of SH 6, from a Livable Centers mixed-use transit concept to this year’s festival.
Your company, service or organization can be part of EnergyFest 2015 with a booth or sponsorship.
Vendor booth applications are now being accepted for this year’s festival. Contact Rachael Weaver, firstname.lastname@example.org. Interested in sponsorship? Download a sponsor application by visiting houstonenergyfest.com.
“Featuring tasty food, live music and fun times, EnergyFest 2015 will showcase some of what makes an Energy Corridor lifestyle appealing,” says Weaver. “Expect more announcements about EnergyFest in the coming weeks.”
Mark your calendars for EnergyFest 2015, noon – 5 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Addicks Park and Ride, 14230 Katy Freeway.
