Energy Corridor Supports the BP MS150

BP ms150 Every year, 13,000 cyclists make the grueling trek from Houston to Austin for one of the city's biggest fundraising events of the year to help fight Multiple Sclerosis.

Teams will depart Tully Stadium on Saturday, April 16 for the journey to Austin. While there are 100 rides across the nation, Houston-Austin 150 is annually one of the largest events. Of the top Houston teams, we are extremely proud that many are employers in the Energy Corridor including BP, ConocoPhillips, Team Shell, and ExxonMobil Cycling Team.

MS is a chronic, disabling disease that attacks the central nervous system and affects 400,000 Americans of all ages. Proceeds from the event help advance treatment, provide care and research a cure for this unpredictable disease.

Please support you local teams! If the 150 ride is daunting, think about volunteering. Volunteers are essential to the event - there are plenty of ways to help by assisting at break points, picking up trash, setting up gear, etc. If you are interested in helping to support a team or make a donation please visit www.nationalmssociety.org/chapters/bp-ms-150/index.aspx
