Energy Corridor Commuters Qualify for Emergency Ride Program

Energy Corridor Commuters Qualify for Emergency Ride ProgramIf you are an Energy Corridor Commuter using METRO’s Addicks Park & Ride bus service from downtown to get to work, you qualify for METRO’S Emergency Ride Home Program. The free service is available for Park & Ride bus patrons without mid-day bus service and also to all METRO STAR vanpool commuters, providing a way home by taxi in the event of a mid-day emergency up to three free trips per year.

The emergency ride service has been extended to Addicks Park & Ride bus patrons that complete their trip via the METRO route 75 Energy Corridor Connector. So if you commute on METRO route 228 to get to Addicks and then jump on the 75 Connector to get to work, you qualify for this great program!
