Dust Off Those Bicycles for Annual Bike to Work Day

Back to Bike to Work DayIt's time for the 7th Annual Bike to Work Day! Join companies throughout the Energy Corridor on Thursday, May 19 and cycle to work in celebration of National Bike to Work Month. Experience the outdoors, bypass the traffic, save money on gasoline and get energized!

Teams will bike to work from Downtown, Alief, Memorial Villages, Spring Branch, Copperfield, Cinco Ranch, Bear Creek, Katy and other neighborhoods throughout the city. A few tips to keep in mind include:

  • Ensure your bike is in good working order
  • Always wear a helmet
  • Obey the traffic laws and signs – ride on the right, signal turns and stop at red lights
  • HAVE FUN!!

On your ride to the office, join us at the Gazebo in Terry Hershey Park at Memorial Drive next to ExxonMobil Chemical's Headquarters from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast, prizes and giveaways. For more information about biking to work, contact Clark Martinson at 281-759-3800 or via email at cmartinson@energycorridor.org.
