Clean Out Clutter, Unwanted Electronics, and Papers at the E-recycle event

Clean Out Clutter by Discarding Unwanted Electronics, Cardboard and Documents at the Energy Corridor District’s E-Recycle and Shredding Event on November 7

The 2nd biannual Energy Corridor District free e-recycle and shredding event will take place Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the western ConocoPhillips Parking Lot behind the ConocoGas Station at the Northwest corner of N. Eldridge and N. Dairy Ashford. E-recycling includes CPUs (Central Processing Units), monitors, keyboards, laptops, power cords, printers, TVs, FAX machines, cell phones and more.  Residents are also encouraged to bring personal documents, photographs, diskettes, micro-fiche, CD-Roms, videotapes, cassette tapes and X-rays for shredding.  Residents can bring up to five bankers boxes of documents to be shredded.  Among those items that can be accepted are accounting ledgers, envelopes, file folders and checks.  Microwaves and household electrical items (blenders, etc.) will not be able to be recycled at this event. TV and monitor recycling will be limited to three (3) per vehicle.  For a full list of items that can and cannot be recycled, please visit www.energycorridor.org.
