Catch a Ride on the 75 Connector; Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

Catch a Ride on the 75 Connector; Reduce Your Carbon FootprintAs ozone season in Houston (typically March through October) heats up, the Energy Corridor District saw an increased ridership on the Energy Corridor’s 75 Connector METRO bus route. This is good news because in the summer, sunlight and high temperatures bake pollutants emitted by motor vehicles, power plants and other sources to form high levels of ground-level ozone.

By using the 75 Connector, you are eliminating the start and stop of your own personal car and therefore decreasing potential ozone emissions. So, whether you’re going to grab a bite to eat during lunch or need to make a trip to the pharmacy, the 75 Connector is an environmentally friendly way to make the trip.

Give the 75 Connector a try and help make your carbon footprint a little bit smaller. The 75 Connector runs every 10–15 minutes Monday–Friday from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. For route or schedule information, call 713-635-4000 or go to www.75Connector.org.
