On Monday February 8, 2010 at 4:30 p.m., the McElmore Marine Corp League Detachment will conduct a flag retirement ceremony at Memorial Oaks Cemetery located at 13001 Katy Freeway between Eldridge Parkway and Dairy Ashford. The event provides an opportunity for businesses and individuals to bring their flags that have become unserviceable for retirement following proper U.S. Flag protocol.

John Nunez Named Transportation Manager for the Energy Corridor District

The Energy Corridor District is pleased to welcome John Nunez, former leader of Rideshare Business Development for Houston’s Metropolitan Transit Authority (METRO), as Transportation Manager.  In this role, John will serve as a contact point for the transit concerns of area businesses and residents and manage the implementation of transit programs including bicycling, walking, vanpools and carpools.
