Energy Corridor Transit Enhancements
The Corridor recently held a stakeholders meeting to discuss the transit survey which is in its second phase. Among those in attendance were apartment complex managers, developers and building managers. Topics addressed included additional bus routes, vanpools and commuting boundaries. Research shows that a majority of those who live in the Corridor also work in the Corridor. Phase I was successful in Transit Stop amenity improvements including installing new benches and wastebaskets, adding bike racks to METRO buses and introducing NuRide, a virtual carpool.
