The Energy Corridor District recently announced that it was selected by the National Park Service’s Rivers and Trails program to receive planning assistance for a West Houston Trail System. The plan includes trail relocation as well as new opportunities for recreation and bicycle commuting.

The Corridor recently held a stakeholders meeting to discuss the transit survey which is in its second phase. Among those in attendance were apartment complex managers, developers and building managers. Topics addressed included additional bus routes, vanpools and commuting boundaries.
