The Energy Corridor District resides entirely within the boundaries of the City of Houston and Harris County Precinct 3. The District works closely with the City of Houston, Harris County, Texas Department of Transportation, and the District's traffic planners and transportation engineers to keep traffic moving at each of the 11 signalized intersections within the District's boundaries. The District is also developing a signalized intersection improvement plan to improve signals and intersections (i.e. turning bays, turn bay extensions, etc.). The District works with the appropriate government entities to implement the plan's recommendations.
