The transportation needs of the Energy Corridor are growing along with the Corridor. The Energy Corridor District has consolidated the transportation projects planned or identified by several government agencies into a comprehensive map. This map shows projects planned by the City of Houston, TxDOT, Harris County, METRO, and the District itself.

Many of the projects identified by the Energy Corridor are included in the 2025 Regional Transportation Plan for the eight-county Metropolitan Planning area managed by the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC). The projects are part of the 100% Plan that is focused on reducing congestion. The goal of the plan is to reduce per person vehicle hours of delay by 50%.
